The Salon Series

The Salon Series is an interdisciplinary gathering founded by Caroline Maxwell to explore environmental issues through the interconnected lenses of science, culture, food, and the arts. Designed as a platform for dialogue and collaboration, the series brings together scientists, artists, chefs, conservationists, philanthropists, and storytellers to examine ecological challenges through shared experiences and diverse perspectives.

Each edition is curated around a specific environmental theme and designed to foster meaningful exchange across disciplines. Through intimate dinners, lectures, installations, performances, and collaborative experiments, participants are invited to engage with complex issues such as biodiversity loss, climate change, conservation, and food systems in ways that are personal, accessible, and actionable.

By creating space for unexpected connections and interdisciplinary collaboration, The Salon Series demonstrates how cultural programming can deepen public engagement with environmental issues and strengthen the networks needed to advance meaningful change.
